Yes, A debit card processed as a credit card works much in the same way as processing a credit card. However, it is not a real-time transaction, the funds may not be there when you "batch out." Like a check, if a customer gives you a check for $500.00 and you call the bank to see if there are sufficient funds, it does not guarantee that the funds will still be there by the time you drive to the bank and deposit the check. Our systems enable you to process a debit card or a check as if it were and ATM card. You will immediately receive the money from their account and eliminate your risk.
